Selamat Designs

My work at Selamat Designs was primarily 3D modeling pieces for fabrication and renders for internal approval to get a sense of materials and proportions, and then creating drawings for final production. This involved considering production and assembly requirements or knock-down construction into the model and drawing.

Morris & Co. Collaboration

In 2019, Selamat Designs began a collection with Morris & Co. which incorporated the renowned designs of William Morris into furniture. My role in the process for some of the pieces involved turning the Morris & Co. patterns into rendering textures, in order to get an idea of how something will look as a carving, casting, or inlay. This also required me to modify, simplify, or remove details from patterns in order to account for the amount of detail able to be reproduced during manufacturing.
